Patricia Reeves

Patricia Reeves was born in Kennett, Missouri, but proudly calls Memphis home—having lived there since the age of two. A lifelong learner with an unshakable work ethic, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Paralegal Studies and went on to build an impressive career as a Paralegal at Rice Caperton Rice, PLLC. While managing the demands of full-time work and raising five children, Patricia also completed a master’s degree in Human Resources Leadership from the University of Memphis—a remarkable feat that underscores her drive, discipline, and innate leadership.

Her professional journey is a living embodiment of one of her favorite quotes by F. Scott Fitzgerald:

“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late… to be whomever you want to be…”

After reaching a peak in her legal career, Patricia made the bold and inspiring choice to start anew—transitioning into a field where she could apply her strategic mindset, people-centric leadership, and operational insight on a larger scale. That leap of faith marked the beginning of a transformative new chapter—one that continues to elevate Waddell & Associates.

Patricia joined W&A in January 2023 as Planning Support Strategist. In just over two years, she rose rapidly through the organization—first taking the helm of the Operations Department in February 2024, then becoming Chief Compliance Officer in March 2025, and by July 2025, being named Chief Administrative Officer. Today, she plays an integral role on the firm’s leadership team, shaping the systems, culture, and client experience at the highest level.

In her current role, Patricia leads cross-functional initiatives spanning operations, human resources, compliance, and technology. She is a strategic force behind streamlined internal processes and client-facing platforms, a skilled contract negotiator, and a trusted problem-solver who brings clarity to complexity. Her work reflects a blend of precision, foresight, and grace under pressure.

What truly sets Patricia apart, however, is not just what she does—but how she does it. Her leadership is direct yet deeply compassionate. She is generous with her time, intentional in her mentorship, and widely respected for both her sharp mind and her big heart.

Outside the office, Patricia remains active in the Society for Human Resource Management and treasures time with her family. A gifted musician, she plays five instruments—channeling her creative energy into music as a joyful counterbalance to her dynamic professional life.
