As W&A’s Marketing Strategist, Nicole Bean manages the firm’s content, marketing, and development projects. Collaborating closely with W&A’s brand experience strategist, wealth strategists, and public relations teams, Nicole builds innovative strategies, ensures clear and consistent communication, and creates meaningful client experiences rooted in a deep understanding of W&A’s mission and values.
Though a self-proclaimed New Yorker, Nicole grew up in a military family, which shaped her adventurous spirit and adaptability. After a travel-filled childhood, she settled in Baltimore to study photography, design, and creative writing at The Maryland Institute College of Art, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge—and pattern of zip code-hopping—she achieved a Content Marketing Certificate from the University of California San Diego and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Marketing at the University of Southern Indiana’s Romain College of Business.
Before joining W&A in January of 2020, Nicole worked as an executive legal assistant and freelance content strategist, honing both her organizational skills and creativity. Her experience laid the foundation for her success at W&A, where she seamlessly blends her artistic talents with a client-focused mindset to drive impactful marketing initiatives.
Nicole’s passion for learning, the humanities, and people are what drive her, professionally and personally. As a member of the firm’s volunteer-led Culture Club, Nicole has made the team’s happiness her business, championing team engagement, celebrating milestones, and ensuring that her colleagues feel valued throughout their careers.
Outside the office, Nicole enjoys songwriting, reading, artmaking, exploring nature, spending time with her family and friends, cuddling her ragdoll cat, Sullivan, and, of course, traveling!
